Sony Mylo 2

MYLO 2

Sony has always been my number 1 brand. I love almost everything they make. Anyhow, recently, the Sony Mylo got an upgrade (Sony Mylo 2). Unlike the previous model, this one is actually eye candy. The finishing is much better than the previous model. My question is though: With the Sony PSP and the Sony UX series, who really wants the MYLO?

Ubuntu Review

UBUNTU

Ok, where do i start? well, yes i know: IT SUCKS. For an operating system to succeed, it needs to work at a reasonable speed. Now i know my friggin’ laptop is so slow, bes the XP i have on it is much faster. I really used it for only half an hour. I never got used to it since it was extremely slow. I’m back to XP now. I will give it a shot later on but not now.

The Number 4

I was at The Number 4 just a while ago. There was an event for BBS Seniors (yes, i am a BBS senior, moo raaz wayhi :P ). The place is pretty cool (Although i still don’t understand what the store’s main purpose is!). There was food and drinks that were served by the people who work there…and the service was pretty good. The place is very cosy and comfy. I really enjoyed it!

PS: sorry, but i forgot to take my camera with me for pictures :(

Ubuntu

LINUX UBUNTU
Yep! I’m downloading Linux Ubuntu and will try it out. I am doing so for two different reasons:

1. I’m really bored with my laptop and its OS (Windows XP) …. and since i’m going to change my laptop when Apple releases the new MBP’s (inshalla), i thought i could give UBUNTU a shot.

2. The percentage of people using UBUNTU is very small… (i like trying out things that people usually don’t have :)

–Oh, and i also like the logo :P

Mac pro With Penryn

Mac Pro With Penryn

This is a picture of the Mac Pro with Penryn!!!
Unfortunately, I want a notebook from Apple and not a Desktop Computer. But this doesn’t deny the fact that a MacBook Pro with Penryn will inevitably hit stores?? (oh, and with blu-ray please :P )

And So, I continue My Search… (Yep, Still Not Finished)

Apple Macbook
Ok. So i’ve almost made my decision to change to mac. What I want to ask you guys/gals is: Macbook/Macbook Pro/ or wait? I’ve always thought that if i would switch to mac, that i would go with the MBP. I’ve been doing my “research” lately, and i have found out that with all the upgrades, tweakings, and the recent mac OS, i could get an almost identical performance on the macbook pro as on the macbook. Now i know that Macbook Pro is built as a higher end line, but if i get the same performance from an upgraded macbook (it adds up to approx. the same price on both systems), then why should i not go for a macbook. What i’m asking is simply that what am i not going to find and be able to do on an upgraded macbook that i can only do on an MBP?? Also, to all the Apple fans out there, do you think i should wait for a seemingly close-to-be-released Apple notebook??

Apple Macbook Pro

UPDATE: for those of you who aren’t sure WHY they should switch to a mac, i present to you SwitchingToMac (I’m even starting to talk like a mac user / PC hater ! :P )

Hmmm…

I don’t know if this is a minor technical problem, but i was checking the Apple Macbook. When i click “design” for the macbook, it redirects to the design of the Macbook Pro. Now while it is not redirecting to something fishy…i like to be optimistic. Is Apple packing another punch??
I hope so…

I’m Not Switching

This post is mostly for the debate i’m having with Macaholiq8 …. i actually want him to convince me to switch to mac. Unfortunately, i’ve yet to find a reason.

I have done my “research” of notebooks i have on my “watch-list”. I split the notebooks into two categories: desktop replacement and portables – to be fair.

Desktop Replacements

Click on Table For Full Size

Portable Notebooks

So there you have it. Neither the Macbook or the Macbook Pro actually wins with its competition, So unless an upgraded MBP emerges with a reasonable price…im not switching.
