Wasabi

I was at Wasabi yesterday (for the first time in my life!) – the one at “Duwar il Bidi3″. The place mostly serves sushi (which i don’t eat), but there were lots of alternatives. Me and my friends tried the California Roll (good), a dish of breaded crab or something (excellent), breaded chicken dish (OK), beef noodles (good), and ROCK SHRIMP (THE BEST). I LOVED IT, and I LOVED THE PLACE! I’m definetly going to go there again (especially at al bidi3, cuz the place is really nice there). I highly recommend it for everyone, even if you don’t eat Sushi. I guess this place comes second after Johnny Rockets on My Favorite Rests. In Kuwait List.

No Hotmail + WordPress Sucks

I’m so pissed off now ‘cuz I can’t access my E-mail (Messenger or Hotmail). Plus, WordPress really really sucks ‘cuz there is no way to edit pictures I upload. (Well, the title of the post says it all )

Update: Hotmail working, wordpress still sucks.

Satisfied

Both!! Apple upgraded both the Macbooks and Macbook Pro’s just a while ago. Although minor changes than what most people where expecting, they were critical. Unfortunately no Blu Ray drive (or any Hi-Def for that matter), but Penryn: YES! I’m so happy ‘cuz Apple just had to make that move and put Penryn on its laptops. Now i’m 100% sure i’m changing to Apple ASAP, but macbook or macbook pro? hmmm…

Macbooks or MBPs Today?

I have been waiting for this for a long time now, and i’m not in the mood for some disapointment. There have been huge rumors circulating the fact that new MBP/MBs are going to be announced today. The validity of these rumors are not 100% (rumors), but i’m hoping for the best. Either it was new macbooks or new macbook pro’s, I want two things: Blu Ray Drive and Penryn. Thanks!

Drake’s Fortune – Initial Thoughts

I just got Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune on the PS3, and so far it’s been a blast! The setting and scenery of the game is absolutely breath-taking. The graphics on the game is outstanding, and the game overall is great so far. I didn’t play for a long time ‘cuz my little sister got scared of the dead bodies, so i’m going to continue at night. Anyway, I will give my full review of the game when i’m halfway through it. So far: Score: 9.0/10

Twine

Step aside Web 2.0 (facebook, blogs etc…) ‘cuz Web 3.0 is here! Now frankly, i really don’t understand TWINE 100%, but all i know is that it is revolutionary. It supposedly organizes and lets you connect and use the internet in a more intelligent way. It is simply like a web assistant. It helps you get the most out of the internet. What To Do?

I know you’ve probably read hundreds of posts about people complaining that there is nothing to do in Kuwait, and people comparing Kuwait to Dubai. Well these people have a valid argument. We’re better than some other countries, but when you think of things you can do in Kuwat…the list is really limited. For example, NOW i’m thinking of how to spend the day today, and all I can think of is Cinema and then dinner (the other option is just to go to a friend’s house and stay there). So yup, i don’t really have an option! Now while people might say that there is for example the Scientific Center, visiting Kuwait city (il deera)….wait! That sounds like a great idea, but people like me don’t really know what there is to do there! Therefore, we are limited to only Salmiya (and recently Avenues). What I am asking for is anyone who knows any place in Kuwait that might be an attraction which you think people don’t know about when they should (especially in Kuwait).

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs!

I never thought this would ever happen to me. I just added a couple of new songs onto my iPod Classic, and now it’s not working properly! What is happening is that some songs just won’t play! They are there, and it shows the duration of the song and the album cover but it just doesn’t play! I hate it when such things happen :@ …. help anyone? Did anyone face the same problem??

Update: I just updated my iPod software, and it’s working fine now.
