Why Is It Called Bluetooth?

The Viking king Harald Bluetooth united Norway and Denmark. He was renowned as a great communicator, skilled at bringing people together to talk to each other – but he would never have guessed that a thousand years later a powerful technology would be named after him!

I just found out about this while i was checking out the new Sony Ericsson W910 (Which i’m wanting). Pretty cool story.

Good to know! It still is the LAMEST technology term ever. Everyone still asks, and will never stop wondering what the heck a blue tooth has to do with wireless connectivity. A BLUE TOOTH? Are you kidding me? It doesnt even sound cool, and cant be sold as cool either.
