Ok, where do i start? well, yes i know: IT SUCKS. For an operating system to succeed, it needs to work at a reasonable speed. Now i know my friggin’ laptop is so slow, bes the XP i have on it is much faster. I really used it for only half an hour. I never got used to it since it was extremely slow. I’m back to XP now. I will give it a shot later on but not now.

Did you install it or did you just run the live disc? The disc is slow because it’s, well, running off of a disc. The install is plenty fast. I’ve run it on many, many PC’s and the only thing that ever made it slow was the computer itself.
The whole thing is running fast when I was using it on a four year old laptop, the only issues I have with it is the hardware compatibility!
well, i guess it was running slow for me cuz i was using it off the cd :S
If that is an actual screenshot you took, you have a very old ubuntu version!
